Sydney Airport Guide
Comprehensive Sydney Airport Guides
Kingsford Smith International Airport is located just 6 miles south of the city centre, and boasts excellent transport links with Sydney itself. Shuttle buses, taxis, and a frequent rail service are all available for travellers to use, and make it simple to get from the airport arrivals hall to your hotel in less than half an hour.
As Australia's largest and busiest airport there is always plenty going on in Sydney, the airport has more than 150 shops to browse through while you are waiting for your flight, and a number of exclusive VIP departure lounges for business class and first class passengers. A wide range of restaurants is available; there is a choice of hotels on offer, and many other facilities to make transiting the airport as straightforward and comfortable as possible.
Getting to and from the airport is a simple matter, and if you have rented a car, the airport is well signposted from all directions, although travelling at busy times means that you should allow up to an hour to make the journey from the city centre to the airport.
